About
Da-Rell Clifton is an accomplished drummer and producer. With his production company Super C Music, he’s able to introduce a style of songwriting and producing that caters to any singer, rapper or band that desires to have a fresh new sound, yet still have their vision come through. Such style can be heard on Juno award winner Lorraine Reid’s album Lessons Learned , New Orleans artist Big Al Carson as well as many EP’s and demos from Toronto and the surrounding area.
Long before my new love of producing, Da-Rell’s passion was focused on drumming. Education on the drums began in middle school and high school. He was in every concert band to jazz ensemble that was available, giving him his first experience in playing and interacting with other musicians. Meanwhile out of school, Da-Rell was studying with drummers such as Dave Langguth (nelly furtado) Johnny Murray (Aaliyah, Dwele) and Chris Gormley (Daylight for deadeyes). And with all of the training under his belt, He has become a sought after drummer in Toronto, working with Juno winners such as Sonia Collymore, and Carlos Morgan, Juno Nominees The McAuley Brothers, and many other acts in the Toronto area. Currently I can be seen drumming with Mac Graham (from the McAuley Brothers).
